Design Lead - BristolA Leading Financial Services Company, are currently recruiting for a Design Lead to join their Insurance Finance Design Team based in Bristol, option to go Temp to Perm and with the flexibility to work from home twice a week.
Day Rate - up to £600pd
Start date - ASAP
Length of contract - Rolling

Overview
The role is for a strong Financial Reporting, MI and Analytics Design Lead to work in the Insurance Finance Design Team working on all aspects of design - including people, process, data and systems.
The role involves leading the definition of the Financial Reporting, Mi and Analytics, Data warehousing and Planning Budgeting and Forecasting elements of the Target Operating Model (TOM) including transition state documents.
The Design Lead will facilitate the design across a number of projects, working with the project teams to identify and document key design decisions, ensure adherence to Group Standards and ultimately gain design sign-off from the business / process owners and IT stakeholders.
The Design Lead will work with Design Analysts, SMES and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs, mapping working day timetables (as-is and to-be) using the group standard tool (Visio).
The role will interact with a broad range of stakeholders from Insurance Finance Directors, to Senior Programme Managers, Group Enterprise Architects and IT Delivery teams. A finance, preferably insurance finance, background is a pre-requisite.
Essential Experience
* Insurance Finance reporting, MI and planning and forecasting capabilities
* Ideally experience of Life Assurance accounting
* Working with Finance and ideally within a Finance department.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong stakeholder management at all levels of the business.
* Proven track record of driving and delivering change in a Finance environment
* Preparation of TOM elements especially process, data and systems
* Setting up and running workshops
* Identifying and documenting key design decisions * Attention to detail
* Flexible approach to work in an agile way
