Description

We are looking for an organisational whiz, who can manage the day to day operational and sales needs of our client's fortnightly newspaper and provide effective support to the wider Communications and Marketing team.

Responsibilities include the management and processes of advertising sales, flat planning, financial management and invoicing, dealing with distribution complaints and queries, back-checking for ABC requirement and web content management.

This job also has the remit to drive sales for the paper, so the right persona is important.

You will provide financial management and administrative support for the Strategy & Communications team in relation to the newspaper, design and print contracts.

There is also the opportunity to develop communications skills through the support of the corporate campaigns team.

Initially the contract period is for three months but it is likely to be an ongoing contract.
