Service Designer x3 (Fixed Line, Ethernet Services) - Bracknell - £350 - £425 - 3 months+
Right now, one of the largest telecom providers is looking for people to join one of their fastest growing business units in the company. This role will sit within the Fixed Connectivity process area of our business and will report into the Service Solutions Manager. The Service Designer will deliver end to end design and architecture expertise as part of an International project team, to ensure our products and services are aligned to our end customer needs. This is an opportunity to be involved in a rewarding solution/design architecture position within our International organisation.
*Fixed Line and experience within Ethernet Services is needed by the client*

This development looks at leveraging Ethernet capabilities for our market-leading Fixed Connectivity portfolio. This will deliver a world class product,high-speed, high-performance network, spanning multiple countries and used by Enterprises to connect their larger buildings.The Ethernet portfolio will be addressing key MEF compliant services like E-LAN, E-Tree and supported with optical (DWDM, OTN), MPLS based core networks and with various types of access technologies (Fibre, EFM, FTTC etc)
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for feasibility, design and timely transition to in-life of Enterprise Products service solutions/operating models driven by customer experience and cost-to-serve.
- Interpretation of commercial product/business requirements into impacts and requirements on architectural operational processes and IT.
- Cooperating with and coordinating different departments of the company at central and local level, to obtain necessary support for the definition of service solution proposals.
- Supporting the selection of suppliers to deliver shared & managed services: defining requirements, selecting suppliers and participating in contract negotiation.
- Manage small to medium scale service delivery within design/architecture for centrally provided/supported enterprise products
The Candidate Profile: Essential:
- Proven process design/solution architect experience within core Telecom operational processes & related systems (ITIL, eTOM)
- Ability to relate fixed network technology, processes, IT and people/organisation to provide a coherent solution with a strong focus on the customer experience
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills, having worked within multi-disciplinary virtual teams, ideally in the telecoms or IT sector, providing complex solutions
- Preparation and review of business cases including people, processes and technology costs
