Description
My client, a leading global bank, is looking for a Senior SOX Compliance Manager.
Role responsibilities:
* Responsible for supporting and advising on SOX matters effecting processes and risks and controls.
* Deliverables includes scoping, documentation maintenance, the identification and remediation of SOX relevant issues, and the quarterly attestation process.
* Design Effectiveness Testing
* Operational Effectiveness Testing
* Management and remediation of any open issues
* Review of general controls and governance and engaging with key stakeholders and chairing regular meetings to review control activities
* Business Continuity management
* General Computer Controls around Calculators and engagement with the roll out of the industrial calculators
Requirements:
* A strong background in SOX
* Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to negotiate the delivery of all requirements in a timely and professional manner
* A understanding of end to end processes
* A clear understanding of risk and controls within end to end processes
* Excel modelling
* Previous General Computer Controls or Automated Business Controls experience
