Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Presales Activities
* Translate business and technical needs into convincing solution presentations (demos, PoC, webinars, etc);
* Like to work hand-in-hand with sales engineers on commando client-satisfying pre-sales actions;
* Cooperate with sales, R&D teams and partners to build and write fit-to-purpose proposals;
* Understand technical and contractual bounds to limit risks and better negotiate;
* Hand-off successful closings to implementation teams and/or partners;
* Provide product and post-sale feedback to R&D and marketing departments;
* Contribute to brand & customer loyalty and support trusted relationships.
Delivery activities
* Conduct Assessment of business process in workshop mode
* Redesign business processes as per best practices.
* Conduct fit gap analysis
* Configure system
* Create Functional design documents for Customizations and enhancements
* Create detailed configuration/system setup documentation
* Write test scripts
* Execute test scripts and document findings
* Assist with development of training materials
* Assist conversion activities to include data reconciliation
* Support Go-Live/cutover activities (and mock cutovers)
* Own and resolve issues from Issues Log
* Trouble Shoot software bugs/glitches
* Work with client to provide knowledge transfer
Skills:
The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of Business Intelligence experience with extensive interaction with end users. Furthermore, hands-on experience in all facets of solution implementation including requirement analysis, design, specification, testing, verification and final acceptance; with ability to plan, explain and execute pre-sales processes to achieve desired outcome.
The candidate must have the following attributes:
* Autonomous, calm, responsive, creative, tactical, proactive, punctual and rigorous;
* Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools (BO, BW, Cognos, Oracle, Tableau, Qlik);
* Wide experience with IT environments, architectures, performance and data security (Windows, Unix, Virtualization, Cloud);
* Understanding of Geographic Information Systems, location data and Location Intelligence;
* Experience acquired in a software services environment;
* Superior oral and written communications skills (supported with MS Office tools);
* Languages: mandatory French and English. German speaking is a plus;
* Comfortable working at all levels in an SME environment;
* Knowledge of salesforce.com
