Salary: €55,000 - €65,000+ Depending on Experience
The Job as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer:
- Provide engineering and technical leadership on product and process issues within the Extrusion manufacturing area ensuring performance to key metrics across the areas of People/Safety, Quality, Service & Cost.
- Directly supervise, lead and develop the Extrusion Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Provide technical leadership to the Engineers and Technicians within the team for daily production support, problem solving and process improvement.
- Lead technical improvement under the team's VIP (Cost reduction) program.
- Transferring and implementing processes either from development or from another manufacturing facility.
- Working as part of a growing team of Mechanical Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Process Engineers you will work in a in a modern facility at the cutting edge of medical device production.
- A core focus of this job is to drive your development particularly in lean manufacturing and training in this area is an option for the successful candidate.
- Due to the recent investment, this engineering team will also have significant involvement with the R&D and NPI group so you will be working cross departmentally project work along with your day to day duties.
- You will also be involved in the development of Graduate Engineers and technicians.

Technical Skills needed as a Senior Engineer:
- Degree qualified, ideally in Polymer/Materials Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years work experience.
- Strong theoretical & practical knowledge of core polymer processes including multi-layer and multi-lumen Extrusion.
- Proven track record in providing engineering and technical leadership on product and process issues within core polymer processes.
- People management experience a distinct advantage.
