Security Architect and SME - CISSP, CCNP, CCDP, Juniper, VMWare is required by my client who is based in Paris .
CERTIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND
- Information Security and/or Information Technology industry certification (GIAC, CISSP or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Formal certifications within the following areas would be desirable but is not essential:
- Cisco CCNP/CCDP, both voice and data
- Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)
- Extreme
- Arista
- VMWare ESX 2 - 3.5 and vSphere 4 to 6
- Hewlett Packard
- HP MASE
- Proliant Servers
- IBM x Series
Work experience:
- Experience in network and/or Firewall design, implementation and system administration or related field 3 years
- Experience in information security domain 3 years
- Work experience in a global organization 2 years
- (Desirable) experience in penetration testing 2 years
- Knowledge of network technologies and background in systems administration
- Sound understanding of network technologies such as; Static Routing, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGPv4, MPLS, VPLS, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, PBR, IPv6, OTV, TRILL, STP, RRPP, RPR and VPC.
- Knowledge and understanding of the following; Cisco ASA/PIX, FWSM, IOS FW, TACACS, RADIUS, IPSEC, 802.1x, MacSec, ISE, Checkpoint.
- Knowledge of WAN acceleration using Riverbed Steelhead devices.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies provided by Cisco, Aruba and HP.
- Understanding of security threats, attack scenarios and intrusion detection mechanisms
- Good communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify and validate security risks, designing and implementing appropriate network security controls to safeguard my clients information assets.
- Investigate, track and report security risks identified during architectural review.
- Deliver qualified information about actual threats and vulnerabilities, provide recommendations how the associated risk can be mitigated
- Provide professional reports on network security risks, recommended countermeasures and risk treatment plans.
- Contribute to the overall performance and success of the Security Operations Group.
Accountabilities:
- Provide professional network architecture security analysis upon my clients global and regional networks in order to drive further security measures and risk mitigation activities
- Set-up, execution and maintenance of network architecture security related processes and tasks
- Analyse, identify, report, track and recommend security measures for information assets of my client.
- Detailed technical security reporting to my clients operating companies and appropriate stakeholders
- Work closely with other Information Security teams to ensure security measures are fit for purpose.
- Continually maintain and improve technical capabilities through individual development activities, accreditations and certifications to remain constantly prepared to challenge the ever-evolving cyber threat
