Software Configuration Manager
A great opportunity has arisen for a contract ITSD Software Configuration Manager on an initial 6 month contract.
The Software Configuration Manager will manage products via Configuration Management processes during the build and deployment through the Path to Live Environments. You will also provide input into establishing and improving the services and processes and the mitigation of risks associated with the environments.
As ITSD Software Configuration Manager, you will ensure service levels are met and that colleagues are provided with a stable and reliable platform to conduct business from. The Software Configuration Manager will provide clarity on processes and enforce them through producing detailed documentation and effective stakeholder management, across both IT and Business Teams.
Required skills and technical experience are as follows:
Governing the configuration process of non-production environment
Experience of code baseline management processes
Managing environment delivery plans and any conflicts
Strong experience of environment build control processes
Able to formulate solutions based on good practice and previous experience
Able to demonstrate business achievements and a self-motivation to succeed
Possesses excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience of Perforce, Hudson and Service Now preferable
Knowledge of automated Deployment and Testing Frameworks
Knowledge & Experience of Microsoft Office, Excel Essential
