My client, a leading retail bank, is looking for a Financial Controller with significant technical accounting experience to join their Finance Change team on a long term rolling contract. Facing out into the business, the team deploy experienced programme and project managers across the Group, enabling the successful mobilisation and delivery of change activities.
The team is currently working through a significant cost consolidation program to deliver a simpler more efficient business. This Programme is a Group wide change agenda across four core work streams - Automation, Organisation, Sourcing and Negative Income.
The successful candidate will be providing Business Partnering support, Investment Appraisal and Benefits Tracking along with Financial Control, Consolidation & Reporting activities. The successful candidate will be a fully-qualified financial accountant and Possess technical financial accounting knowledge and skillsv including strong understanding of UK GAAP.
