Senior Financial Analyst: Analysis and Reporting
Key Responsibilities
* Provide monthly report on clinical external project expenses including excel phasing computations and slide deck with commentary on
* The evolution of Budget Continous forecast
* The evolution of actuals Vs budget
* Monthly meetings with the Clinical Operations team for budget review and implementation/review of actions
* Develop and implement training programs to increase Finance acumen for Clinical Operations
* Day to day support to Clinical Operations for technical aspects and processes
* Lead all financial aspects for Capitalization of clinical study costs
* Collaboration with the Business to implement spotchecks on local financial activities to ensure compliance
Prerequisites
Education
University degree in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge
* Requires high degree of interaction with different departments, ability to influence and to work in a Matrix environment.
* Important to have good organisational skills and an ability to manage priorities while ensuring good service level
* Analytical/financial skills
* Strong mastery of Excel
* Good communication, presentation and report writing skills
* Assertive, pragmatic and good team spirit
Experience
5-7 years experience
The person needs to have sufficiently developed financial skills and the ability to inspect and evaluate source data systems to ensure robust quality.
