Quality Leader - With strong audit experience
A Quality Leader with strong audit experience is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Cumbria
This is a 12 month contract working for a leading defence company.
Overview of the Quality Leader contract role
As part of the Pulsar Programme undertake Assurance activities in support of a new system of work. This will include mapping and documenting processes, auditing for process compliance, establishing metrics and reports to support quality deliverables, in addition to the volume measures currently in place
Key skills required for the Quality Leader
- Lead Auditor trained ( ISO9001 or equivalent )
- Proven background in audit and continuous improvement
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Able to join an established team, but act with a level of autonomy with the accountability for this piece of work
- Good IT skills
- Understanding of the value and best use of metrics and data
- Proven problem solving skills
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
