For our customer, an international pharmaceutical company located in Basel, we are looking for a
Senior Accountant (m/f)

Your tasks:
- You are deputy to Head Finance and Accounting
- Also you will be project leader/team member for introducing new and optimizing existing processes within Finance
- Financial statements of the company (local GAAP and US-GAAP), monthly-, quarterly- and year-end closings, you will do the group reporting to the headquarter and answer finance-related questions within the company
- VAT reconciliation for all companies are part of the job as well
- You will be responsible for general and restructuring accruals as well as of accounting of deferred and direct taxes
- Preparation/handling of internal and external audits are your responsibility, as well as public files and information on the intranet (forms, guidelines etc.)
- Also you do payroll accounts reconciliations
Your qualifications
- You have relevant accounting experience (local and US GAAP) in a multinational corporation
- You are fluent in German and English, and a good command of French would be an advantage
- Experience in project management as well as solid knowledge in SAP (FI) and MS Office are part of your profile
- You pay attention to detail and accuracy, and you are flexible, resilient, trustworthy, discreet, well organized, team player, positive and open minded
