A global Biotechnology organisation require experienced Project Managers who have in the past delivered large scale biotechnology/pharmaceutical projects. The role of the Project Managers will be to manage and co-ordinate the large capital investment programme on location. There are multiple projects located across Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East.Job Description:
- Project Management - To manage the specific project relating to the new build, refurbishment of the site, including the implementation of the project plan, commissioning and qualification activities and handover to operations.
- Quality/Compliance - To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations / national legal requirements, including completion of all GMP commitments to plan - specifically relating to the accuracy of project documentation.
- People Management - To operate in a matrix organisation, driving the local team to ensure that the project is delivered.
- Interface Management – Act on behalf of the client to manage deliverables and oversight of the complex programme in line with established engineering/technical providers.
- Continuous Improvement - To explore and identify new and improved processes targeted at improvement in quality and operational performance.
- To work in a safe manner with due regard for the health and safety of self, other work colleagues and the work environment. The Project Manager will also have an on-going role in support of Safety, Health and Environmental considerations through the development and implementation phases of the project.
Minimum Requirements:
- Significant period of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical/Biotechnology sector within Project Management of new large scale CAPEX programmes.
- A proven track record in delivery of complex cross-functional projects above €50 million.
- Experienced practitioner of good project management practices.
- Able to forge good relationships with project members in a matrix organisation and hold sound relationships with the internal senior level management team.
- The job-holder must be a highly self-motivated and energised individual with strong drive and reputation for on time delivery, able to present complex material in a succinct manner appropriate to support prompt decision making.
- International experience is beneficial.
