Description
A world renowned automotive firm are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team in the West Midlands on a Contract Basis.
As Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the introduction, monitoring, and validation of best quality practices for processes and products supplied to the company. You will be required to visit suppliers on site and ensure all regulations are being complied with.
This is a customer facing role, you will be expected to work with suppliers and ensure suppliers stay on track; the ability to push and develop supplier relationships is key. You will also be involved in conducting process audits and managing the follow up of the improvement plans.
Due to the nature of the client, you will be expected to travel internationally in order to visit suppliers, with all expenses paid.
Requirements:
- Automotive experience within a supplier quality customer facing role essential
- Previous experience in a strict quality standards environment with knowledge of automotive auditing, TS16949 and ISO accreditations.
- Qualifications in engineering OR quality management (HNC or equivalent)
- Use of PPAP and PSW processes.
- Use and implementation of improvement plans.
