Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Insurance / Contract / London / £600 - £700 per dayMy client, a pioneering insurance firm, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their expanding team based in central London.
What the role with entail;
The successful candidate will be responsible for the architectural governance and management within IT Infrastructure Services. The role will include the continued development of architecture best practice and reference architecture, management of the TDA process, architectural project support, production of HLD and LLD's and all associated documentation. Act as the 'Go To' architecture SME.

My client is looking for the following skill set and experience;
At least 12 years of IT experience.
At least 5 years of architecting enterprise solutions.
Willing to assist team members with challenging technical problems.
Experience of working on any Enterprise scale virtualisation solutions.
Strong Object Oriented skills.
Experience of coaching and mentoring.
Has led teams of architects and designers in an agile environment
Life and Pensions Insurance experience is a big plus.
Certification or knowledge of Zachman or TOGAF Framework is highly desirable.
The candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding users. The successful candidate will gain excellent exposure to the business area and products as well as the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, delivery focused environment.
