Description

Roc Search's client based in Wiltshire is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join an existing team on a long term contract. You will be responsible for ensuring my clients robust, complimentary processes throughout the supply chain, and continuously improves these processes.

Key Responsibilities

*Plan and enhance logistic concepts (procurement, production, sales and distribution, long term planning models etc.). Aligning individual elements of the value added chain to ensure optimal planning.
*Analyse and optimise all tasks and processes within the supply chain - from order entry to goods issue; consultation and coordination of the process owners, creating the necessary environment for cross-functional cooperation.
*Ensure production planning and MRP controlling across all value added levels, ensuring delivery performance and delivery ability for both internal and external customers.
*Management of stock level across the whole supply chain (together with the MRP Controllers), identification and realization of measures ensuring stock level optimization
*Controlling supply chain goals (development and provision of logistic performance and logistic cost parameters on plant and team level)
*Identification of weaknesses and development of improvement and cost saving possibilities. Initiation and execution of CIP processes and process improvement projects.
*Examination of logistic complaints relative to the location and initiation of improvement measures ensuring future avoidance of logistic failures.
*Cooperation in cross-plant/cross-location work groups and projects aiming at a standardisation of supply chain processes and methods (EPC, SCE, AM, etc.).

Key Skills

*Bachelor degree in Logistics, Engineering or equivalent
*MBA desirable.
*Supply Chain Excellence certification or equivalent knowledge in the areas of logistics and supply chain management
*Professional experience in high-tech manufacturing industry company combined with management experience in logistic functions.
*Process knowledge across the complete supply chain
*Six Sigma Greenbelt or equivalent knowledge and experience in business process analysis and configuration of logistic processes.
*Experience in the implementation of supply chain solutions including distribution, 3rd Party Logistics providers, cross-docking.
*Experience in successful controlling of change management processes, proven experience in project management.
*Successful experience in people management/leadership and motivation
