Role: Senior Procurement Officer/Buyer
Location: Abbeywood, Bristol
Duration: 6+ Months Initially with possible extension
Note: Security Clearance is required for this role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Essential Experience
- Contract Initiation - supporting development of commercial strategies and programmes, implementing commercial strategies and programmes, develop terms and conditions.
- Contract Management experience
- Supplier performance assessment pro-actively monitor, control and manage all activities necessary to ensure the contractor delivers the goods, works and services
- Negotiation skills
- Stakeholder management
- Defence market experience
Desirable Experience:
- Understanding of government procuremnet regulations and MoD commercial policy.
