Impairment Delivery Lead (IFRS9)A Tier 1 bank is looking for a candidate to for fill a dynamic and challenging role as an Impairment Delivery Lead on the IFRS9 project. The Impairment Delivery Lead will be responsible for the end to end delivery of Impairment capability (data, systems, processes, models, reporting).
Key Responsibilities:
- You will own the IFRS9 Impairment Business vision to ensuring this is satisfied through IFRS9 Impairment delivery.
- Full end to end (E2E) integration planning & delivery of IFRS9 Impairment into a Business Cluster including the uplift of all Local Systems;
- Full Group and Local IFRS9 Reporting & Compliance for IFRS9 Impairment;
- A robust Operating Model (Organisation, Processes & Business Impacts) exists and is in place for Parallel Run and BAU for IFRS9 Impairment;
- Compliance with all Local Regulatory, Audit and Controls as they relate to IFRS9 Impairment
Skills and experience required:
- Excellent understanding and exposure to Retail and Wholesale Credit Risk and Finance Systems & Reporting environments either from within Finance or Risk or preferably Finance and Risk
- Exposure to Risk/ Finance Impairment reporting processes
- Ability to create and drive thought leadership
- Ability to communicate complex challenges in simple terms and ability to balance the workstack while prioritising and focusing on the most significant issues
- Strong planning, organisation and coordination skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Proven stakeholder management skills to MD level
- A positive 'can do' approach
- Ability to think innovatively to problem solve and to think laterally
- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to cope with a steep learning curve
Salary - £70K to £80K + Package
