A major commodities trading firm based in London is looking for a Market Risk Solution Manager with solid experience in managing large teams around this specific area.
You will be required to roll out enterprise wide market risk applications across an international basis within Oil, Gas and Power trading. The right candidate will have good knowledge with VaR/PnL/Curves etc. Subject matter expertise in Market Risk is required to be successful for this position.
This is one of the most successful and largest trading firms (in commodities) across the world, therefore you will be exposed to heavy weight programmes in the multi millions of pounds.
The project manager for this role will have the responsibility of managing teams from 15-20 people, a budget of £1 - £5million (full PnL) and autonomy cross the projects being managed.
You should ideally have commodities trading experience BUT will be strongly consider investment banking backgrounds from various complex asset classes.
