Service Manager: Delivery, Operations, Archiving, Demand

SERVICE MANAGEMENT:

- Ensures that the relevant resources from the underpinning IT services are engaged in the delivery and support of the service.
- Ensures that process roles are appropriately assigned to individuals within the functional unit.
- Oversees and operationally manages the necessary processes by which the service is delivered.
- Monitors the service and provides regular reports regarding service performance.

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides overall leadership, control and decision-making and assumes responsibility for the BAU operations team.
- Reports to senior management on all IT operations issues.
- Overall responsibility for the day to day (BAU) Service Delivery & Operations within the agreed service levels.
- Manages the service by ensuring that all day-to-day operational activities are carried out in a timely and reliable way.

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT:

- Ensures that all suppliers meet their contractual commitments.
- Monitors, reports and regularly reviews supplier performance against targets.
- Identifies improvement actions as appropriate and ensures these actions are implemented.
