Description
CONTEXT
He/she will be part of a team of highly professionals with whom he/she needs to work together to design, manage, monitor and support the entire vmware ESX setup in a large enterprise environment.
He/she will support and manage the Thin Client environment based on Citrix XenApp Servers using Citrix PVS (Provisioning Services)
He/she will report directly to the Infra Win Team manager.
Involvement in 24x7 rotation of an on-call guard system. Occasional evening and weekend work.
SKILLS
. Must have's
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience with vmware vSphere ESX
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience with Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with some MS Back Office products
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Server OSes
- Thorough expertise with relevant infrastructure technologies:
Vmware vSphere 4.x, 5.x, 6.0
Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp 5.x, 6.x, 7.x
Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2 OS platforms
MS Back Office products (AD, ADFS, Exchange, Sharepoint, Lync, Systems Center Suite, )
- Solid understanding of SAN/NAS storage technologies with significant exposure to storage platforms (EMC nad NetApp preferred).
- Strong Scripting skills (PowerShell, PowerCLI).
- In-depth knowledge of VMware vCenter, HA, DRS, etc.
- Good technical expertise with Citrix XenApp farms
- Strong knowledge on several of the following technologies: Project Server, Active Directory, IIS, Lync, Exchange, ADFS, ADS, PKI, Lync, System Center Suite SCCM, SCOM
.Nice to have's
- Experience with HP hardware and HP SIM a plus
