Position Title: Sr Project Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA
Work Type: W-2, Corp to Corp, 1099
Contract duration: 12months + (strong possibility of extension)
Skills and Experience required: (These are the must have requirements)
- PMP certification
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience working with public sector organizations, of which five (5) years must be in a senior or lead project management role.
- Must have five (5) years of experience that demonstrates contract negotiation skills and ability to develop scope of services for a vendor-based investment management system solution.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing project management services related to large investment portfolio management, order management, risk, or trading system integration initiatives within the global institutional asset management field for organizations with assets under management (AUM) in excess of $100B
- Must have prior experience deploying system solutions in an Microsoft Azure environment
- Must have prior experience with Charles River Investment Solutions product
The role of the Contractor Project Manager will be to:
- Utilize a scaled Project Management methodology that aligns with the size, scope and approach to completing the project objectives
- Develop scaled project management artifacts for the project
- Coordinate and communicate with the software development consultant team and the client staff and stakeholders involved in the project
- Monitor and report on task/deliverable completion status and budget
- Track risks, issues, action items, and scope changes
- Facilitate post-production transition, knowledge transfer and support model implementation
