Infrastructure Planning and Delivery (IPD) Project Coordinator

Contract: 12 months (W2)

Location: Corona, CA 92879

Team size will vary based on each project/Projects will be at various phases

Responsibilities:

The Integrated Planning & Delivery (IPD) group is looking for a Project Coordinator to support a wide variety of project activities.

  • Establish collaborative relationships with Program and Project Managers in IPD and assist with activities needed to define, develop, and deploy projects and programs primarily related to the IT infrastructure.
  • Duties will include compiling and analysing project/financial reports, tracking project/program progress and results, coordinating schedules and activities, placing eProcurement orders for hardware/software supplies and services and other activities as described below.

Other duties include:

  • Assist Program and Project Managers with project tracking and reporting requirements.
  • Create and disseminate information (Project Plan, related artifacts) to project team members.
  • Propose alternative solutions to identified gaps and obstacles in current project initiation and reporting processes.
  • Monitor RPM, Remedy and other tools and assist Project Manager(s) with capturing and updating project information.
  • Review RPM for compliance with management policies.
  • Prepare and submit Purchase Orders and Capital Requests through eProcurement.
  • Track and report on Operation Level Agreements (OLA's) and Recharge Agreements.
  • Create or update Service Level Agreements (SLA's), Statements of Work (SOW's) and Recharge Agreements.
  • Assist PM with ad hoc reporting requirements for management oversight
  • Partner with Financial Analysts on analysing capital and non-capital reports for reporting project/program actual and committed dollars.
  • Develop and maintain project document library and other project/program repositories.
  • Participate in project team meetings and assist in documenting action items, user requirements, and project schedules.
  • Function as an information source on organization policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and information privacy requirements.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration/Management or related
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination
  • Functional knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of databases, project management software, project management methodologies; Lotus Notes, Clarity/NIKU, Remedy, OneLink, Visio
  • Background in financial processes including general ledgers, invoice management, capital/operating expense management and budget forecasting
  • Experience working with diverse project teams in the implementation of large-scale, complex IT infrastructure projects
  • Experience in assisting with management of project delivery in a large scale enterprise infrastructure shared services environment (Fortune 500 or similar)
  • Strong planning and coordination skills, including meeting management and stakeholder communication
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to communicate confidently with customers, project teams, technical delivery teams, and service providers; may provide professional advice to best practices and procedures to project/program principals
  • Experience in client relationship management

Preferred Experience:

  • Information technology background

  • Health Care industry experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Program Management Professional (PgMP®)
  • ITIL certification
  • Waterfall and SCRUM/Agile principles, practices and tools and techniques across agile methodologies
  • Large-scale IT Infrastructure Project Coordination
  • Large Application Migration
  • Legacy and Cloud Infrastructure and Deployment Automation
  • Professional services/consulting experience (defining engagement scope, negotiating commitments, estimating costs and creating statements of work and service level agreements) a definite plus
