Description
FPGA Engineer (VHDL Verification) - Newport - 3-6 months
FPGA Engineer is required for an initial 3 to 6 month contract with a client of ours based in South Wales. The core of the roles is to assist with a number of VHDL projects that have been implemented to a large degree, but must be subjected to a IEC61508 process to SIL2. There is the option to work from home remotely 1-2 days per week, and there is a strong possibility the contract will extend.

Location - Newport, South Wales
Rates - £35 - £45 per hour
Start Date - ASAP
Key Skills:
- VHDL and verification experience
- IEC61508 experience to SIL2
- Industry standard knowledge such as STARC, DO-254
- Good electronic hardware understanding
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Aldec ALINT advantageous.
- SC clearance preferable, or at least ability to be SC Cleared
