2nd Line Support Analyst / Administrator - Windows v7, Active Directory - 6 months - Middlesex -Leading pharmaceutical organisation urgently requires a 2nd Line
Support Analyst ideally with experience of Systems Administrator to be responsible for support and maintenance of IT systems, to include user/desktop support, security, software installation and patching ensuring excellent levels of customer and support service for all users within scope of all subsidiaries.
As a 2nd Line Support Analyst you will be responsible for planning, assessing, installing, developing and operating, management and operational maintenance of systems to include; user and system security, recovery of data, software installation and patching, ensuring that IT desktop service levels agreements are adhered to and KPI's are met. This includes ensuring that service requests, incident and problem tasks are being effectively managed for supported user community.* Proactive fault finding and root cause analysis in response to identified problems, following IT quality standards, policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions and processes to ensure delivery of a high quality IT service, ensuring software licensing compliance and maintenance and development of desktop support working instructions, configuration/asset information and standard operating procedures.
With regards to system development you are required to work proactively together with others to select and integrate new systems, keep up to date of technical developments in the area of expertise, identify and address ways to improve processes and systems internally (and within the team), maintain contact with users and offers technical advice and support in the area of expertise, collaborate with external service providers on system development and support and on IT and interdisciplinary projects as required and provide users with IT on-boarding training.
