Description

I'm currently working with a Government department in UK exclusively who is looking for a key HIGH LEVEL Security Architect for a long contract mission in the UK.

Location: Manchester - Will pay expenses

Duration: 12 month rolling

Rate: Very Attractive day rates

The main points to qualify are:

Being able to roll out Security Road Maps for online based customers.

Ideally worked on Government projects

Knowledge of DDoS and how to put into a strategy

Ideally we are looking for someone in the UK as they need to be in the best position to be bale to obtain UK Security Clearance.

JOB SPEC:

Domain Architect Security

Knowledge/Experience/Technical skills

Defined security architecture strategy and developed security architectures against a backdrop of competing business, security and privacy requirements.
Participated in the development of hardware, software and network security procedures and guidelines in support of security policies
Experience of defining and implementing technical controls frameworks and IT security principals
Ability to demonstrate a deep knowledge of security and privacy risks and threats along with a strong understanding of key considerations such as confidentiality, availability, integrity, non-repudiation and privacy.
Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the complexities of protective security with solutions incorporating expectations of Physical Security and Personnel security.
Ensure the viability of proposed solutions and provide direction, advice and guidance on the appropriate security approach to Solution Architects.
Able to describe load testing, simulating certain types of Denial of Service attacks, including Distributed Denial of Service attacks, so that assurance can be obtained that sites and applications work under realistic load (traffic) conditions.
Understanding of UK Gov. Security Classifications
Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards;

Additional Information

Relevant certifications and memberships (such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); Membership of the Institute of Information Security Professionals (M.InstISP) a Chartered Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS-CITP); TOGAF; CESG Certified Professional (CCP) Lead IA Architect) are desirable Must be willing to undergo appropriate security clearance (SC or DV ).
