Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for an Engineer on an initial three month contract. The role will be within the Flooding team who are responsible for the development, delivery and promotion of hydraulic modelling services.
You will be:
. Working with and directing in-house teams and external consultants
. Assisting in the development of policies and procedures
. Carrying out surveys, inspections and technical assessments
. Developing and managing quality systems, data handling and record storage
You must have:
. A good understanding of Civil and Structural Engineering
. Significant experience of applying a wide range of hydraulic modelling techniques
. Prior experience using InfoWorks or a similar modelling software
. The ability to work well with stakeholders
In addition the above, it would also be highly advantageous if you have experience of hydraulic modelling in the water industry and project management.
