Are you a risk specialist looking to take the next step in your career? A growing CCP Clearing House are looking for a talented risk analyst to join their Liquidity and Collateral Risk Management team.
This is a twelve month contract role with a strong chance of converting to a permanent role, should the candidate be interested. This role is paying up to £250 daily rate and based in the city of London.
You will be joining a team to help support their daily reporting and control activities, ensuring transparent and robust daily monitoring of member and counterparty exposures.
Your daily duties will be as follows:
- Produce accurate daily reports on all exposures to allow detailed analysis and decision making. This will include providing internal, eternal and regulatory reporting
- Assist in the daily monitoring of liquidity risk and collateral related exposures to members and investment counterparts
- Support in the production of analyses required for new initiatives and projects
- Assist in the development of internal procedures
- Ensure documentation of risk models and methodologies remains current for internal and external utilisation
- Assist in the business testing of IT system changes, including documentation of test cases, test results and escalation of defects to senior management
Our client is looking for someone with the following experience:
- Degree or equivalent in a numerate/quantitative subject
- Knowledge of risk management within a financial institution
- Knowledge of Liquidity management and Securities markets
- An understanding of the mechanics and processes behind clearing house risk management would be beneifical
- Strong understanding of risk management principles such as back testing and stress testing
