Financial Accountant/Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner/London
This is an opportunity for a financial professional to act as a senior finance business partner to a government agency. Working with construction companies the candidate will ne involved in a number of high profile programmes. The role is based in London as an initial 3 month contract.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To maintain schedule assets under construction (AuC), ensuring they are properly recorded and recognised
- To keep the relevant documentation up to date
- To make sure transactions in the AuC schedule are accurately managed in the relevant accounts
- To advise on accounting treatment for capital projects, communicating advice effectively
- To develop new processes and controls for capital accounting
- To ensure audit files are available for NAO audits
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Accountancy qualification
- Proven experience working in a commercial financial environment
- Experience delivering high profile projects
- Experience with construction industry desirable
- BPSS DS Security Clearance level required
