Description
OSS, RAN Expert (Ericsson) is required to work on a three monthly extendable contract in the Philippines. The successful candidate must have at least 8 year's experience of working on Ericsson's equipment and who will have supported the RAN optimisation teams with providing extensive work on KPi's. To include enhancing the focus on KPIs, eg: CCR, LU success rate,IC Handover ratio, Paging success rate, PDP success, Location updates SAE check, The EOS analysis A-NUMBER analysis, B-NUMBER analysis, routing case analysis, announcement changes.
: Evaluate and expand the hardware and software capacity
: KPI upgrade, for example: bad quality cells, low download speed cells, high interference cells, low the radio access cells and ATU(DT&CQT test) test.
: Frequency planning, troubleshooting and KPI advancing
: Handle voice-bad cell and data-bad cell.
Job Description:
- Support the RAN optimisation teams to ensure the effective delivery of all required changes to operational support systems that are required for the ongoing support of the project
- Provide detailed analysis of the impact of optimisation team changes to the RAN to ensure that the key project deliverables are achieved
- Responsible for ensuring that all existing OSS tools provide the platform to ensure that the network quality and performance targets can be achieved
- Responsible for the ownership of the OSS tools used within the RAN and the development and implementation of all required key processes
- Deliver constant improvements to processes ensuring increasing work efficiency and minimizing lead times and costs
- Ensure close cooperation with other technology teams as well as external vendors and service providers
- Mentor local OSS staff in recognised best practices and quality assurance principles
- Provide support to staff in the Fault, Performance and Configuration Management teams
- Support the planning and execution of complex network upgrades
- Ensure all required reports are delivered in a timely manner
- Interface with vendor engineers on escalated technical matters
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have minimum 8+ years of OSS experience with a GSM/WCDMA/LTE wireless operator
- The candidate must have excellent knowledge operational platforms and service tools
- Excellent hands on experience of OSS monitoring, tuning and performance management
- Extensive capacity planning and management experience
- Experience of troubleshooting tools, trace and log file analysis tools and measurement equipment
- Experience with trouble ticket tools and process
- Fault identification, correction and reporting skills for GSM/3G/LTE subsystems
- Proven problem solving skills and a history of delivering complex projects
- Must be customer centric and work closely with management team for timely delivery of required services and reports
- Good team player and ready to work for stretched working hours
- Good communication and presentation skills to internal and external customers
- High level of business English skills is a mandatory requirement
