Software Test Engineer, Manual / Black box test, Embedded Systems, Chelmsford, Essex, £15-£20ph, 6 months initiallyTHE PROJECT:
An Electronics business in Essex have an immediate 6 month requirement for a Software Test Engineer (who has knowledge of Electronic / Embedded Software products).
You'll be tasked with analysing requirements, developing test cases and then executing & recording the results. All of this will be Manual testing, however any Automated test experience is desirable (but not essential to this role).
Aside from Embedded System & Electronic experience, experience testing PLC's is desirable.
This is an initial 6 month contract, which is expected to extend to 12 to 18 months.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Manual/ Blackbox testing experience
2. Ability to understand requirements, develop test cases & then execute
3. Embedded System & Electronic product experience (PLC system experience desirable)
