Eden Scott&rsquos client, an international investment management company, are looking to recruit an internal auditor to work across the company to ensure that there is a strong appraisal service for the business. This is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will focus on all matters related to risk management, governance and internal controls. You will be joining the company at a critical time of their growth strategy so this will be a high profile position.Responsibilities
Delivery of a wide reaching and challenging audit plan
Contribution to the audit and risk methodology
Provision of reports post audit, including recommendations
Be a key contributor to business strategy for departments
Ensure that you are aware of changes in regulations and legislation and then impart this knowledge across the business
Act as a risk ambassador across the business
Requirements
You will be a qualified accountant or Internal Auditor or be working toward qualification (the company will sponsor through exams). You will have a good understanding of internal audit within financial services and ideally have previous experience of asset management. Experience in leading reviews would be an advantage as would be computer aided audit tools (CAATS). You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
