Description
Test Manager required for a West Midlands based, household name client, for an initial contract of 8 months.As a Test Manager you will be involved on a project involves a number of different components including:
- Migration of a business unit from JDE to SAP
- Development and configuration of SAP
- Integration work with a number of satellite systems- using SAP PO
- Modifications to stand alone systems
- Upgrade of HPQC testing tool and its use throughout the project
- Data migration
- Management of all parts of the test cycle - unit test, systems integration test, UAT/acceptance testing. Logging of test scripts, progress tracking/reporting, defect management, progress reporting.
You will be required to come in to the business and understand the work they do and the landscape and work with the team to put together a testing strategy and plan.
It is of the utmost importance that you are meticulous in your work and pride yourself on high standards, as the business will be undergoing a SOX audit.
This means that you should be experienced in the tracking and documentation of progress along with the production of daily reports.
On top of this, you should currently be immersed in testing and have held senior testing positions for the last 3-4 years. You will bring a driven work ethic and ability to fit in with a variety of different teams whilst ensuring strong day-to-day management.
As mentioned, this contract will initially be 8 months long and will be paid in the region of £350-£450/day.
