Description
We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Architect Specialist to provide essential support over virtual and physical environments as well as working closely with clients and project managers to plan documents and to deliver infrastructure components.
We are requiring someone who can manage and provide support for VMare/Windows Server infrastructure components in accordance with agreed service levels, standards and processes. Proactively manage IT infrastructure to minimise business disruption and identify and drive initiatives to improve the quality and effectiveness of infrastructure services. Own and manage the process and procedures relating to VMware/Windows Server/Linux Server/SAN services in compliance to project delivery schedules. Drive the infrastructure strategy of VMware/Windows Server and to undertake solution design for infrastructure projects.
Skills Required:

Configuration of server backups using CommVault.

Good understanding with VCE Vblock technologies.

An understanding of network and storage infrastructure with experience of network patching, SAN zoning, provision of storage on EMC SAN technologies (VMAX & VNX).

Knowledge of automation tools like Microsoft System Center.

Experience in exploiting Cloud technologies (IaaS/PaaS)

Compliance and audit reviews.
