IT Support Engineer


Manchester


3 Months - 6 Months


An IT consultancy and support company based in Manchester are looking to expansion and they would like to initially hire an IT Support Engineer for an initial 3-6 month contract to help with the workload. The company support organizations throughout the UK, with user bases from 5-1500. As a business the offer consultancy, support, break fix, procurement and development. The IT Support Engineer needs to have a solid technical background and also be comfortable in a client facing role.


The day to day responsibilities would be monitoring servers and workstations through the consultancies control panel and offering support to their systems. Most weeks you would be required to visit different client sites to build new PC's and user profiles, which means the ability to drive is an absolute essential. Travel costs will be expensed.


Some of the work for of the IT Support Engineer can be done remotely from home, but most of your work would be based in their office in central Manchester.


The IT Support Engineer Essential Skills & Experience:
* Windows Server
* GroupPolicy
* Active Directory
* Windows workstation
* Driving License
* Client Facing


The IT Support Engineer Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Exchange Server
* Previously worked for an IT consultancy


The company have got really exciting plans for the next 12 months and a really interesting pipeline of work, so this will be a great opportunity to gain some experience and expand your skill set.


The company have said they are willing to pay the successful candidate £70-£85 per day
