Description

Sopra Steria Recruitment, working in partnership with Major public sector client in UK; we are recruiting Commercial Manager in for 4 months with possible extension for our Public sector client.

Requirement:

  • Experience managing/building stakeholder relationships
  • Good understanding of profit and loss
  • Rail industry experience advantageous
  • Experience in commercial functions - NOT looking for Procurement Experts

Objective:

  • Manage the commercial relationship (train operating company who run the franchise) on behalf of the client
  • Monitoring long term interests
  • Are they delivering all the obligations set out- benefits realisations

Essential:

  • Evidence of senior stakeholder relationships preferably in a commercial capacity
  • Financial acumen
  • Resolve problems
