Compliance Consultant - Disclosure Reporting - Investment Management Compliance - Asset Management - Current State AnalysisOur client is an independent Asset Management firm with prestigious offices located in the City. With impending FSA deadlines ahead they are looking to appoint an experienced Compliance Consultant to undertake a current state assessment of the existing Threshold Disclosure System. This system supports the identification and reporting of long and short disclosure requirements.
The project will involve collaboration with Compliance and IT functions to identify and document the current state of regulatory requirements and how these are both; coded within the disclosure system to asses if the current market and field data fields are accurate, and to evaluate the current operational processes that the compliance team follows to report, asses and output on the relevant disclosures to relevant market reporters and global regulators.
This person will have prior experience of:
- Regulatory reporting, combined with IT project experience
- A good level of understanding/awareness of the disclosure regime in order to review and challenge regulatory requirements - ie share disclosure requirements, EU short selling, Panel on Takeovers and Mergers coding
- Strong documentation skills in order to document the current state of output to senior management
- Be able to provide a viable challenge/response to testing results
