Procurement Specialist (Property & Estates)

A Procurement Specialist (Property & Estates) is required to work on a 6 month contract (with the possibility of extension) for a government agency based in Leeds

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the production and execution of efficient procurement strategies whilst acting as a source of procurement and commercial expertise
  • Administering and demonstrating cashable savings from procurement activity
  • Providing leadership to Procurement Support resources in the team
  • Constructing procurement strategies that lead to commercial outcomes that are effective and reflect the needs of stakeholders
  • Leading on high value, complex and strategically important procurement projects.

Essential Experience:

The successful candidate will be a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent (eg MBA).

Estates and facilities procurement experience is essential.
