Financial Accountant is required for a contract position in Bristol. Sopra Steria Recruitment, working in partnership with Major public-sector clients in UK we are recruiting Financial Accountant for 9 months contract for our public sector client.
This role will require candidates with a proven Experience and responsible for:
Must be Excel proficient;
- analyse forecasts, prepare manual journals;
- consolidate reports monthly.
- Prepare & input data to IT systems.
- Finance; Audit & Accountancy.
- Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Analyse business trends, costs and financial commitments to project future expenses.
- Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs and deal with all aspects of financial management including supporting the 30-year planning process, in-year management, financial accounting and financial reporting (including manual input and reconciliation of IT accounting/reporting systems) as well as data analysis and support to non-financial project management staff.
