Change Manager

My client a leading bank is looking for a Change Manager, you will be responsible for Cradle to grave change delivery within a portfolio of Project led change. You will be responsible for shaping change initiatives within a team that strives to be recognised for its professional and effective change delivery to FBS.

Rate: £ a day

Job Description

Manage and control the delivery of change to FBS, acting as a gateway to specialised knowledge and providing projects with a holistic view of FBS systems and Processes. Develop and maintain good relationships with Stakeholders through regular contact and communication, contributing to FBS wide stakeholder management and when needed guide and support FBS stakeholders through the change process.

Key Stakeholders: Group IT, COO Change, Project Stakeholders, Functional SME, Other FBS teams (including Ops/Master Data).

You will be responsible for:-

  • The provision of detailed Change Impact Assessments, estimating resource and change delivery costs as part of resource planning and forecasting.
  • Agreeing a change approach for change following appropriate elements of the Lloyds banking Group project life cycle.
    • Work closely with Functional SMEs to understand portfolio impact, mobilising FBS resources and environments to support successful change delivery, participating or Co-ordinating Change Definition Workshops when required.
    • Production of workstream plan on a page and detailed plans which will feed into structured project governance, understanding the project critical path and critical success factors, with contribution to Gateway sign offs.
    • Reporting timely progress to appropriate stakeholders, including identification and escalation of key risks and issues.
  • Represent FBS Change Team at agreed project/COO change governance meetings.
  • Support mobilisation - implementation readiness plans and testing activities
  • Delivery of continuous improvement through identification, capture and review of lessons learnt as part of post implementation reviews.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of FBS Business Systems and Tools would be preferred - Change implementation by a Change Manager may span several/multiple system management landscapes and the successful candidate will be required to develop and maintain a good relationship with Group IT.
  • Change Approach Knowledge - change mobilisation, planning and resourcing, risk issue and dependency management, progress tracking and reporting, PSOC (people side of change), CSOC (Customer side of change), Test Management, Implementation Management & Change Closure
