Financial Accountant/Analysis/Staff management/Excel

A qualified financial accountant is needed to join a non-departmental public body at its office in Leeds. The core responsibilities are to provide financial analysis to support the transformation from the existing to a new financial and organisational structure.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analysis of financial data across the transition from old to new structure
  • Develop processes to support the change and to support the BAU
  • Monitoring of data quality issues
  • Definition of new financial requirements
  • Communicating financial processes and findings to staff across the organisation, including senior management
  • Some training may be required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Accountancy qualification
  • Management Accountant/Financial Planning and Analysis experience
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Experience of managing financial professionals
  • Very strong communication skills
