Description

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Recovery Plan.
  • Ensuring the recovery plan complies with relevant regulations, in particular SS18/13, and meets regulatory expectations.
  • Coordinate with different teams within the business (including Capital, Liquidity, Risk, and Finance) to ensure that all aspects of the recovery plan are coordinated effectively.
  • Coordinate with Risk to ensure that scenario planning for recovery is appropriately aligned with the stress testing framework.
  • Engage with senior management and relevant committees to ensure the Plan is appropriately approved and that managers remain aware at all times of their responsibilities under the Plan.
  • Ensure the Plan is appropriately tested at appropriate intervals.
  • Lead engagements with regulators in the Crisis Management Group to articulate how the Recovery Plan works and can how the bank can recover in times of stress.

Candidates must have:

  • Knowledge of Recovery and Resolution Planning.
  • An excellent understanding of capital and liquidity management.
  • Good stress testing knowledge.
  • Experience of leading cross functional projects and work streams, as well as delivering high quality outputs.
  • Experience of managing changing regulatory expectations and requirements.
  • Excellent organisation, analytical and numeracy skills.
  • An ability to influence/manage stakeholders
