Happy New Year!
I have been working with a client over the Christmas period and they gave a requirement up until the new financial year, which could also be extended. The role is based in the Midlands.
The main role will be to support the 16/17 contract planning round mainly looking at Acute contracts. The below is a list of role and required skills / experience.
Role:
- Develop indicative activity plans (IAPs) for main Acute providers to support 16/17 contracting
- Keep an audit trail of challenges to the Trusts as part of negotiations
- Turn QIPP plans into activity profiles for agreement in Acute Hospital contracts
- Assist the CCG in aligning CCG planning trajectories with Contract plans
- Calculate Marginal Rate for Emergency Thresholds
- Liaise with associate commissioners to feedback progress of IAP developments
- Support Head Of Information in developing Information Schedules
- Support Head Of Information on ad-hoc tasks through contracting round
Skills / Experience
- Knowledge of PbR mechanisms
- Knowledge of SLAM datasets
- Understanding of relationships between SUS and SLAM datasets
- Advanced Excel skills
- Communication to directors and associate commissioners
- Previous experience in working in a CCG / CSU
