Description

Financial Modeller required for 6 month contract with Government department in Brighton.

I am looking for an individual who has extensive financial modelling experience who can help build and shape future business options for my client. This is a short term piece of work which will involve working closely with financial and non financial staff in a fast moving environment to deliver against demanding timelines.

Key tasks:
You will support the development of business case options using relevant volumetric, financial and commercial data, ensuring clear audit trails are created and maintained throughout
You will work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure business requirements are understood and reflected in both financial models and business cases
You will provide day to day support and regular progress updates to colleagues as required
You will ensure that all work completed is explained and handed over to colleagues at the end of the assignment

Experience required:
Extensive financial modelling skills with ability to create/adapt models in line with TPR standards and wider business best practice principles
Ability to understand, interpret and apply commercial principles to financial models and business cases
Sound understanding of business case principles with the technical skills to build and support the financials behind the business case options
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
