VMware & NetApp Consultant - French speaking
My client, a leading European consultancy, are looking for an experienced VMware & NetApp consultant for an initial 6 month contract based in Luxembourg.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Operational management NetApp storage and VMware
- NetApp and VMware Monitoring Tasks (daily and weekly Health Check)
- Corrective actions to make based on our standards and internal procedures
- Resource Provisioning
- Automation and documentation of certain redundant tasks
- Participate in the implementation of solutions
The technical skills required are:
- Technical expertise on VMware ESX 5.x (virtual center, pools resource svmotion, vmotion, DRS, etc ...). Knowing perform actions simple to medium complexity and detection/troubleshooting
- Mastery of NetApp 7-mode and the products and solutions inherent in the manufacturer (MetroCluster, OPM, VSC, SM). NetApp principles must also be acquired (snapshot, snapmirror, SnapVault, etc ...)
- Knowledge on Cisco UCS systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems
This is working in a French speaking environment so this is a necessity.
