A leading bank is looking for a Risk Manager to join an exciting Project in their Mortgages Change department
Rate:£ a day
Location Gloucester
Contract: 5 months
Role
Provide risk and regulatory subject matter expertise and support to the Mortgage Product Risk team to deliver a number of high profile initiatives including large scale regulatory change and remediation activities. Able to evaluate a range of information to produce insightful analysis, recommendations and advice to influence decisions in relevant areas of the business and develop strong working relationships with the business at a senior level.
Key accountabilities: Apply effective controls to ensure early identification of emerging risks Support the business in managing and mitigating known issues robustly Provide proactive advice, constructive challenge and focussed specialist conduct risk advice to the business taking into account business/customer needs, external best proactive and regulatory requirements Respond to a wide range of complex enquiries, ensuring that the information provided is clearly understood by the business Comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships Capabilities: Evidence of effective risk management Delivering Change Analytical skills Collaborative Working Influencing
