Description
An international market-leading telecom client has an urgent vacancy for a Site Acquisition Manager. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the Site Acquisition Department. This is a great opportunity to join a long-term project on a long-term extendable contract.
Purpose of the Job
- The Site Acquisition Manager will work in the Site Acquisition Department
- In his/her role, he/she will support the Site Acquisition Department in the following activities: Coordination of all private owner negotiations in acquisition ( 2G, 3G, LTE, µWave deployment ), Deliverables quality check, general reporting, data quality management, Site search for new locations, forecast updating.
Key accountabilities:
- Leads/drives the internal deployment activities in the site acquisition and following global contracts, the client's objectives and budget conditions for a specific group of sites.
- Responsible for the tracking tool update and the weekly status reporting.
- Reports on any escalating quality work, or deviation regarding the objectives.
- Leads his/her negotiators to maximize results, respecting priorities.
- Solves the specific operational, contractual and financial issues and generates global reporting to management.
- Manages the priority of action to perform in order to obtain the highest output as possible in terms of site acquisition deliverables.
- Has a push/pull attitude with the different Client Teams on his projects (Transmission, Radio Engineers, Site Engineers, Site Sharing, FAC, Etc )
- Sets up and maintains global tracking on KPI/SLA and other performance indicators.
- Sets up and maintains a data quality layer on multiple reporting tools with a focus.
- Launches, follows up and receipts purchase orders for the acquisition related activities.
- Participates in transversal projects where needed.
- Contributes to the definition and improvement of deployment processes, methods and procedures.
- Participate to weekly meetings with the Site Acquisition Team Leader.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Manages the priority of action to perform in order to obtain the highest output as possible in terms of site acquisition negotiation.
- Participates in transversal projects where needed.
- Contributes to the definition and improvement of deployment processes, methods and procedures.
- Participate to weekly meetings with the Site Acquisition Batch managers.
Competencies:
General:
- Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience
- Minimum 3 years of negotiation experience in Acquisition and/or network deployment
- Good comprehension & experience in Site Acquisition process & flow
- In depth knowledge of the Bright & MW outsourcing acquisition contracts
- Good knowledge of telecom business
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English. Local profile is mandatory for this position.
