Description

Due to expansion and growth, I am looking for a software Buyer for my client in the Midlands.
This is an urgent contract position and ideally looking for someone who would be able to start within 4 weeks of offer.

Within the position your duties will include:

* Purchasing of software for use in production vehicles.

*The Buyer would be responsible for negotiating pricing and licencing terms with software/licence vendors.

* Introduction of new suppliers and ensuring that the supplier understands and operates to production supply requirements.

* Help to shape the software procurement processes within the team.

Ideally you will have the following skills:

* Excellent administration and organisational skills
* Be a Team player and have strong relationship building skills.
* Applicants must be self motivated and able to work unsupervised
* Negotiating commercial contracts
* Managing supplier relationships Sourcing new suppliers & products

Experience Required:

1) Strong commercial and legal awareness and skills with regards to purchasing software Experience of software procurement is essential
2)Commercial business acumen and negotiation experience.
3)Computer & Project management skills are essential.
4)Ability to analyse the total business case for sourcing
