I have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager to work for a major company based in Warwick.
Finance Manager
6 months Contract
Experience Required:
- Ability to pick things up quickly & high motivated
- Ability to work on their own with limited guidance
- Proven great organisation skills and delivering to deadlines
- Managing others to deadlines
- Preferably managed a project
- Value placed on order and quality - high attention to detail
- Understand the need for high quality documentation
- Personable and empathetic - this person will be asking for time from teams who are under a high degree of pressure.
- A do-er, willing to get stuck in
- Good written skills; plain English
- Strong excel skills; vlookups, use of complex spreadsheets, models
Key Tasks:
o Production of a manual consisting of the new documentation
o Working with the team members within the support functions finance team to complete any remaining plan actions
o Supporting the team members in the completion of the allocation review for 16/17, including
o Review and challenge of documentation
o Modelling financial impacts of changes
o Ensuring documentation can be audited
o Carrying out an "internal audit" on the work done as part of the project
o Ensuring documentation is clear/user friendly
o Ensuring that evidence is of the quality expected
