I am currently recruiting on behalf of a global technical organisation for a Discovery Consultant who has strong knowledge of Microsoft MAP Tool data and Windows. You will be based in Worcester full time, and this will be for 2 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Single Source of Truth of migration information/documentation - via Microsoft Excel/Word - use Microsoft MAP tool output to maintain data - working with Solution Architect
The remaining MAP and SSoT work that still has to be done:
. Review the MAP report and extract the successful results to then be placed into the SSoT.
. Speak with WCC to try and get access to failed Servers (account with higher privileges, alternate account for Linux/other OS's, are ports closed/Firewall or software blocking access)
. Re-run MAP Tool once additional information is obtained from WCC
. Make sure all server information that has been received is added to SSoT and all formulas are working
With regards to the project, you will be working on a data centre transformation programme, involving migrating Servers/applications to a new virtualised platform.
